In a bit of good(ish) news, the poorly managed and soon-to-be-virtually-obsolete US Postal Service has actually lowered rates for a change. As of today, the criminally high $15.95 shipping cost for international orders of Happiness is a has been lowered to the slightly less criminal price of $13.95. I’m not sure why, but it doesn’t matter if I’m shipping to Toronto (which I can fucking see across Lake Ontario, on clear days) or Auckland.
I’m still looking for a cheaper way to ship internationally. And again, I promise you that I don’t make a cent off of this. You’ll see the $13.95 stamp when it arrives.
So.
All of those Djiboutians and Bahrainis that I know have been dying to read the book but were daunted by the price: today is your day.
